Olivetti Lettera 22 (1950) Typewriter

Designed in the late 1940's by Italy's Marcello Nizzoli, this typewriter is both functional (loved by writers and journalists) and a modern work of art (won the Compasso D'Oro, a pre-eminent Italian Design award in 1954).
